Nestled in the heart of Rome, this Italian gem is a culinary treasure trove that encapsulates the essence of Italy.
The service here is impeccable—a seamless fusion of attentiveness and genuine warmth. The staff's knowledge and passion for Italian cuisine elevate the entire meal.
Now, the star of the show: the food. Each dish is a masterpiece, meticulously crafted to showcase traditional flavors. We had the beef in pepper sauce, freshly made pasta with seafood, the saltimbocca (this I highly recommend), the tiramisu and the pistachio mouse. We loved every single bite
In summary, this Italian restaurant isn't just a place for a meal; it's an expedition into the heart of Italy.
Amazing food. Amazing staff. Amazing ambience. We didn’t feel like ordering a bottle of wine but the waiter recommended a blueberry cocktail (I’m not even sure if it was on the menu), and it was very delicious. The fish dishes were extremely creative and the flavors were popping. The pastry chef gave us a rundown of the entire dessert menu, which was a first in Italy. She is truly the Queen of Tiramisu. The mango dessert was also delicious. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant. As a side note, they also have a delicious gelateria right outside the restaurant and we went there for dessert #3.
This was our first night in Rome. We were walking around and fell in love with the location. We were there at the right time and got a table right up front. The server was a character and entertaining. He pointed us in the right direction for a bottle of wine and it was very good. The food was very good and the deserts were also delicious. The only thing to be aware of is that if you order fish, the skin is still left on. We come from an island and eat a lot of fish. It isn't customary for the skin to be left on were we are from. My son wasn't prepared for this and so it wasn't his favorite. Overall, the food was very good.
Very nice restaurant with great service. The waiter recommended us very good wine options which corresponded to the dishes we had. Also the pastry chef came to explain us all the deserts which are all home made by the way.
Ate lunch here. Service was exceptional. House wines were excellent - we tried the red and the white. Bottled water was 3 euros a bottle but it was really good. We had a delicious Caprese salad - drizzled with basil infused olive oil. Very tasty and excellent cheese. Not too many vegetarian options on the menu. We went with a pasta in a zucchini yogurt sauce. It was quite good though a bit bland. We also had a sea bass in tomato sauce, basil and other spices. It was nice but pricey. Overall - fairly small portions but tasty food. Would be nice if there were more vegetarian / fish options.
This is a great small restaurant to have a simple (but good) meal. My friend and I had dinner here in august and sat outside. The staff were helpful and energetic. The food was great. I always make a point of getting caccio e pepe when I’m in Rome and it’s very good here. They have a great wine selection as well.
Best authentic Italian restaurant we have went to in Italy. The owners treated you like family and were very warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure my pregnant wife got the desserts she wanted. Pedro our server was amazing, he was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was excellent, next time we come back to Rome we will definitely eat here again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Excelent food. The owner was very kind and friendly, he was also very attentive. Huge respect for him.. being there overseeing everything and making sure things go smoothly.
Service was fast and wine selection was good, the only thing is that some waiters (the ones that bring the food) were not at the same level as the host server, nothing mayor but just a thing that could improve to make the experience that much better with very little effort.
The place is very cozy, it's a comfy tucked in place.
I recommend it. Their dishes make for a fine meal.
